These Terms & Conditions explain the general rules that apply when you use the Stitch Itch Creations website, submit a project inquiry, communicate with Robin about a custom project, or purchase a custom Memory Quilt, Memory Bear, or other handmade keepsake.

By submitting a project inquiry, approving a custom project, making a payment, or otherwise moving forward with Stitch Itch Creations, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the applicable project terms, policies, and approved project details.

About Stitch Itch Creations

Stitch Itch Creations creates custom handmade Memory Quilts, Memory Bears, and other fabric keepsakes using customer-provided clothing, fabrics, and other approved materials.

Each project is individually reviewed and created based on the clothing provided, usable fabric, requested design, project scope, materials, timeline, and other project-specific considerations.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically create a binding order, guarantee project availability, establish a final price, or reserve production time.

A project is considered accepted only after Robin has reviewed the project, confirmed that it can move forward, and the required project terms and payment expectations have been satisfied.

Project Inquiries

Customers may submit information through the Stitch Itch Creations website regarding a potential Memory Quilt, Memory Bear, keepsake, or other custom project.

Information submitted during the inquiry process may help Robin evaluate:

• Project type

• Clothing and materials available

• Amount of usable fabric

• Intended recipient

• Requested number of finished pieces

• Meaningful details

• Budget

• Timing

• Garment condition

• Design preferences

• Other project requirements

Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee that Robin will accept the project.

Robin may request additional information, photographs, measurements, or a conversation before determining whether the project is a good fit.

Project Approval

Before production begins, the customer and Robin should have a clear understanding of the approved project scope.

Depending on the project, this may include:

• Project type

• Finished size or approximate dimensions

• Number of finished pieces

• Clothing or materials to be used

• Meaningful details to preserve

• Design direction

• Additional materials

• Estimated project price

• Deposit requirements

• Estimated timeline

• Shipping responsibilities

• Other agreed project details

The final custom project is created according to the approved project scope and the practical limitations of the materials provided.

Handmade Nature of the Work

Every Stitch Itch Creations project is handmade.

Customers understand that handmade products may contain natural variations in stitching, fabric placement, pattern alignment, dimensions, color appearance, texture, construction, or other details.

These normal handmade variations are not necessarily defects.

Robin will make reasonable efforts to follow the approved project direction while also making practical sewing and construction decisions based on the clothing, fabric condition, usable material, and overall integrity of the finished piece.

Customer-Provided Clothing and Materials

Customers are responsible for choosing which clothing, fabrics, photographs, patches, labels, or other materials they provide for a custom project.

Customers should only provide items they are comfortable allowing Robin to cut, sew, alter, stabilize, trim, arrange, or permanently incorporate into the approved project.

Once customer-provided materials have been altered, they cannot be restored to their original condition.

Stitch Itch Creations cannot replace sentimental, vintage, discontinued, irreplaceable, or one-of-a-kind items supplied by the customer.

Robin may determine that some submitted materials cannot safely or practically be used because of:

• Fabric condition

• Damage

• Weakness

• Stretch

• Thickness

• Construction

• Limited usable fabric

• Incompatibility with the project

• Other practical sewing considerations

Robin may contact the customer if a material issue substantially affects the approved project.

Customer Responsibility for Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their project.

This includes:

• Contact information

• Shipping address

• Number of garments

• Fabric condition

• Requested number of pieces

• Requested dates

• Design preferences

• Special details

• Ownership or permission to use submitted materials

Stitch Itch Creations is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the customer.

Customers should promptly notify Robin if important project information changes.

Ownership and Permission to Use Materials

By providing clothing, photographs, logos, graphics, names, patches, embroidery, or other materials for a custom project, the customer represents that they have the right or permission to provide those materials for the requested use.

The customer is responsible for obtaining any permission that may be required from another person or rights holder.

Stitch Itch Creations does not claim ownership of customer-provided materials or personal content merely because those materials are used in a custom project.

Project Pricing

Custom project pricing depends on the individual project scope.

Pricing may be affected by factors including:

• Project type

• Finished size

• Number of pieces

• Amount and condition of clothing

• Design complexity

• Additional materials

• Special requests

• Number of finished keepsakes

• Shipping

• Other project-specific requirements

Any quoted price applies only to the project scope on which that quote was based.

If the project scope materially changes, Robin may provide revised pricing before continuing with the affected work.

Deposits and Payments

A deposit may be required before a custom project is scheduled or production begins.

The applicable deposit, payment schedule, and remaining balance will be communicated as part of the project agreement.

Customers are responsible for making required payments according to the agreed payment terms.

Failure to make a required payment may delay project scheduling, production, shipping, or completion.

Deposit and refund rules are governed by the Stitch Itch Creations Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Changes to an Approved Project

Customers should request important changes before production begins whenever possible.

Once the project scope has been approved, requested changes may affect:

• Price

• Timeline

• Design

• Materials

• Finished size

• Number of finished pieces

• Shipping

• Amount of usable clothing

Some changes may no longer be possible after clothing has been cut, altered, arranged, sewn, or incorporated into the project.

Robin will explain material changes to the project scope before proceeding whenever practical.

Project Timelines

Any project timeline provided by Robin is an estimate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Project timing may be affected by:

• Current workload

• Project complexity

• Materials

• Customer response time

• Requested changes

• Clothing condition

• Shipping

• Carrier delays

• Unexpected circumstances

• Other project-specific factors

Customers with a birthday, wedding, graduation, anniversary, memorial, holiday, or other important date should communicate that date before the project is approved.

A requested completion or delivery date is not guaranteed unless Robin specifically confirms otherwise.

Shipping

Customers should not ship clothing or project materials until Robin has reviewed the project and provided the appropriate instructions.

Customers are responsible for securely packing approved materials and providing accurate shipping information.

Carrier delays, loss, damage, misrouting, theft, and delivery issues may be subject to the policies and procedures of the shipping carrier.

Customers should review the separate Stitch Itch Creations Shipping & Project Protection Policy for additional shipping information.

Unused Clothing and Fabric

The handling of unused clothing, remaining fabric, and significant scraps should be confirmed as part of the individual project scope.

Customers who want specific garments, labels, patches, graphics, or remnants returned should communicate that request before production begins.

Customers should not assume that every fabric scrap or unused piece will automatically be returned unless that has been included in the confirmed project instructions.

Cancellation and Refunds

Custom projects are created specifically for the individual customer and may use clothing that has been permanently altered during production.

Cancellation and refund eligibility therefore depends on the stage of the project.

Once production begins, customer-provided materials may no longer be capable of being returned to their original condition.

All cancellations, deposits, completed custom products, craftsmanship concerns, and applicable refunds are governed by the Stitch Itch Creations Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Completed Custom Projects

A completed Memory Quilt, Memory Bear, or keepsake is created according to the approved custom project scope.

Because each finished project is personalized and created using customer-specific materials, completed custom projects are generally not eligible for return because of a change of mind, personal preference, or changed circumstances.

If a customer believes the completed project contains a craftsmanship issue or materially differs from the approved project details, the customer should contact Robin promptly so the concern can be reviewed.

Care of Finished Projects

Care requirements may vary depending on the clothing, fabrics, stabilizers, construction, embellishments, and other materials used in the finished project.

Customers should follow any care instructions Robin provides for their individual project.

Stitch Itch Creations cannot guarantee the long-term condition of customer-provided fabrics because age, prior wear, laundering history, fiber content, existing damage, and normal future use may affect those materials over time.

Photographs of Completed Projects

Robin may wish to photograph completed projects for business records, portfolio use, website content, social media, or examples of her work.

Personally identifying information, sensitive details, or customer stories should not be publicly shared without appropriate permission.

If Robin requests permission to publicly feature a project, the customer may decline.

Submitting clothing or project information does not automatically grant permission to publicly use a customer's name, personal story, photographs, or identifying information.

Website Content

The Stitch Itch Creations website is intended to provide general information about Robin's custom work, project process, policies, and available services.

Website photographs and examples are provided for general illustration and inspiration.

Previous projects do not guarantee that another project can be created in exactly the same way.

Availability, offerings, project requirements, pricing, policies, and website content may change over time.

Customers should rely on the project details specifically confirmed for their individual order.

Website Use

Visitors may use the Stitch Itch Creations website for lawful personal purposes related to learning about the business, submitting project inquiries, reviewing services, and contacting Robin.

Users should not:

• Attempt to interfere with website operation

• Submit false or misleading information

• Use the website for unlawful purposes

• Attempt unauthorized access to website systems

• Copy or misuse website content in violation of applicable rights

• Customer-provided incorrect information

• Pre-existing fabric weakness or damage

• Material deterioration caused by age or prior use

• Third-party service interruptions

• Events outside normal business control

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any customer right that cannot legally be waived.

Changes to These Terms

Stitch Itch Creations may update these Terms & Conditions as business practices, services, policies, or legal requirements change.

The version posted on the website will apply to website use from its effective date forward.

For an already approved custom project, the project-specific terms confirmed between Robin and the customer should be reviewed together with the policies applicable to that project.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are intended to be governed by applicable laws of the State of Louisiana and applicable federal law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to eliminate or restrict any consumer protection or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.
